Mr McCartney Retweeted content that claims the Government has so far created 19,000 jobs for 16-24-year-olds, as part of a new scheme.



The Kickstart Scheme is intended to create government-subsidised roles for those aged 16-24, to help ensure that the rising generation is able to work despite a coronavirus-weakened economy.

According to the Treasury, 19,672 have so far been created, as of 12 November.

Our verdict is therefore true.
